Eric Carle's 'The Hungry Caterpillar' .

The focus for this project was exploring the 'Hungry Caterpillar' and its' life cycle by using recycling materials and mixed media. Students could imaginatively illustrate different parts of the story whilst developing their skills such as cutting, painting and printing and exploring the different qualities of art materials.

'The Lion and the Mouse'.

Students explored the theme of animals through the Aesop's fable of 'The Lion and the Mouse' whilst exploring contrasts of scale and mixed media resources.
